the International Conference on Multilingual Theories and Practices in Dublin



During April 20-21st, four members of our network participated in the International Conference on Multilingual Theories and Practices (MTP3), in Dublin.



This conference has attracted research-active scholars from different institutions around the world that focuses on multilingualism throughout the lifespan. Our members, Dr. Beatriz Cortina-Pérez, Dr. Fernando Trujillo Dr. Ana Andugar, Dr. Ana Otto, and Prof. Mila Schwartz presented novel data on:



(1) English teaching of foreign languages at preschool;

(2) Designing an Early Childhood educator profile for multilingual contexts;

(3) CLIL to pre-primary education;

(4) and Child’s language-based agency in early language education.


In addition, our honored advisory board member, Prof. Nancy Hornberger, presented

a keynote focusing on researching and Teaching (with) the Continua of Biliteracy. Key topics that are relevant to our multilingual.
